The actual design process we go through will vary based on the individual needs of our clients, but generally speaking, these are the steps we follow in order to create your final product:
We begin every design project with some very focused discovery work. We ask a number of questions aimed at uncovering your overall business objectives, your messages, visual appeal, your current/future/desired audiences, their characteristics, what's attrative to them, what turns them off and what motivates them to take action. We also do competitive research, to see what competitors are doing right and where we can improve on their design techniques and strategic site decisions.
We take the information we learned through our strategic discovery work and prototype your design work to make sure we've understood your needs properly and we're taking things in the right direction.
We make final decisions regarding what, where and how your work is going to be deployed, and we begin all the technical processes that will take us from prototype to final product.
We polish up our work, run it through a variety of tests (validation, functionality, security, final usability, etc.) to ensure the end product is absolutely bulletproof and we launch!
With your site, brand, content, etc. out in the wild, we look at how it's being used and how you can take advantage of our work most effectively.
