1) In your own words, who are you, and what do you do?

TODAY'S KITCHEN STORE is a gourmet kitchenware store in Wooster, OH, opened on August 26, 2010. It provides an upscale source in Northeast Ohio for quality specialty products that are used in the kitchen during food preparation and delivery to the food enthusiast's dinner table. My husband Rick Davis and I [Cheryl] are the owners and are performing essentially all roles for the planning and operation of the new retail business.

"...our experience was both educational and insightful and resulted in an exciting image and well-received Web site for our new business."

2) What were your goals coming into this project?

In concert with the opening of our new brick & mortar store, we recognized the importance for also establishing a Web presence for our new business. And across both, the TODAY'S KITCHEN STORE image needed to be supported and promoted. The first goal for the TKS initiative with Studio1337 was to define the graphic image and TKS "brand" by mid June so the business, physical store and Web site would reflect a consistent view of who and what we were all about.

The second goal was to develop and install a Web site by end of July that would initially just provide information about the business and begin to establish our image to the public. That flexible Web site design has been enhanced to support additional store offerings such as an online accessible Gift Registry and may involve integration with a second Web site for an eCommerce business expansion.

3) How has partnering with Studio1337 helped you achieve those goals, and could you describe your experience working with our team?

Through a mutually respectful partnership with Studio1337, our experience was both educational and insightful and resulted in an exciting image and well-received Web site for our new business. With their guidance, our business vision was clarified and uniquely reflected in our logo that has already begun to be recognized as signifying quality and creative thinking. During the planning and design of the Web site, the Studio1337 professionals were particularly challenged because of our limited use of Internet but significant experience in Information Systems development and project management. However Studio1337's sensitivity and compassion made the experience minimally stressful and resulted in a solidly designed and built electronic representation of TODAY'S KITCHEN STORE.

"...I was particularly impressed with their understanding of the critical success factors and commitment to our targets...For my money and time, these are the folks to sign up with."

4) Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Although I understood from the beginning that Studio1337 had developed some impressive Web sites, I was particularly impressed with their understanding of the critical success factors and commitment to our targets. As a professional IT Project Manager myself, I know that for them to accomplish so successfully what we needed on time and as expected required a well-managed collection of truly experienced and talented professionals. For my money and time, these are the folks to sign up with.
