Studio1337 was originally founded as Equentity LLC by three Web developers, Jamie Harrop, Paul Hirsch and Paul Riddick, located in West Yorkshire, U.K., Akron/Canton, Ohio, U.S. and Durham, U.K. respectively.
Jamie, Paul and Paul all started as separate professional designers in 2001. They had the opportunity to collaborate on a number of projects, and over time they became intimately familiar with each others' development strengths and areas of expertise.
The pivotal point for the three founders came with their collaborative creation of the International Web Developers Network. This project sparked discussions about formalizing their relationship for the benefit of their customers and each other. Months of meticulous planning went into preparations for the unveiling of Equentity LLC, which officially opened May 22, 2005. Jamie's adventurous spirit took him from Equentity LLC's core business into a lesser role a few years later, and he now participates on a per-project basis.
In 2008, the partners of Equentity LLC created the new brand under which all design and development work would take place, Studio1337. Studio1337 also welcomed a new partner, Dan Luria from West Hartford, Connecticut. Dan has worked with Studio1337 since 2005 as a contractor, and he brings a strong background in Web programming and database management and administration to the team. The partnership between these developers has resulted in more powerful productivity for Studio1337 clients than ever before.
"I thought a website would be too expensive with little return on investment. Wrong and wrong. Studio1337's fees were fair and I quickly received 100% RTI."
